FATHERHOOD. You don’t get the answers in advance. You go by instinct, and hopefully, sound thinking. Years later, we will find out. “My dad pushed me hard to play baseball, and I hate baseball/him now”..OR…”My dad pushed me hard when I wanted to quit, and boy, am I glad he did. I LOVE baseball, and I love my dad”
Today, the Peter Stuyvesant Little League had their opening day. Jake is on the Yankees (YAY!)…They beat the Tigers, 10-2, or 12-2, or something like that. Jake played a lot of first base. He got the co game-ball. The game STARTED at 8:15, so, I opted out. I thought living, and sleeping a LITTLE, would be better than dying, and going to the game. Jake’s coaches, upon hearing that Jake was coming, but I wasn’t said, “OK, no problem, s long as Jake is coming”…Jake mans up, and is less nervous when I’m not there.
LETS GO YANKEES!!!!!
